Clothing can be returned for store credit minus actual shipping spent*. This does not include Swimwear, Undergarments or items that are on sale(this includes but is not limited to Blowout Sales/Black Friday/Cyber Monday Sales, etc...any time you order at a discounted price, the sale is final). Shoes, Jewelry, Accessories, Gifts, etc. are not eligible for returns at this time and IF we approve it via email you will be credited the amount paid less our original shipping costs. You will always mail the return back to us at your expense and we recommend insurance/trackable services as we are not responsible for your package if it is lost in transit. Please be sure to print and include the RMA form in your package, this is REQUIRED as we have to have it to file away with all information filled out...starting 6.1.2019 we will deduct $1 from your credit if you fail to send/bring the return back with the completed RMA form. Thank you for your assistance in this process, it helps to keep your account accurate as well as our system in regards to accounting and inventory.

 *Our new return policy is effective 1.1.2019 and anything purchased on or after that date will fall within these guidelines. If you pay $4 shipping and it costs us $6 to ship your item you will be credited back the retail value of the item less $2 when you return it, etc. Please email info@thepolkadotalley.com with questions pertaining to this.

Clothing Items cannot be worn, washed or altered in any way and must have the original tags attached, if sent with tags. Once an item has been worn or washed, even once...even on the hand-wash cycle...it cannot be returned for any reason.

The items must be free of deodorant, perfume, make-up and other stains and scents including but not limited to smoke smells, etc.

If your return does not meet the above criteria please don't attempt to return it as your return will be denied. If you receive something you did not order or your item appears to be defective in any way, please email management@thepolkadotalley.com within 5 days of receipt of the package. All claims must be reported within 5 days with no exceptions.
To return a clothing item that meets the above criteria, please fill out our RMA FORM here. Send the form back to us with your return, the ship-date of the return MUST be within 7 days of receipt of the package being delivered to you and/or our local pick-up bin(NOT the day you came to get it).

Most in-stock items ship within 1-3 days of purchase unless otherwise stated in that product's description or during the holiday season. PLEASE take the time to read the description and if you are checking for an update always check there as we update our descriptions for delays, etc. Please understand that a lot of what we sell are pre-orders coming at a later date. We do LOW prices and LOW shipping because of this business model. Be aware of the wait time when ordering and know that it's almost always worth the wait! If you ever choose to not wait on an item before it is estimated to arrive we will offer you website credit. If we are ever delayed on an item you are entitled to a full refund or credit if you do not want to wait any longer. We never want to keep you waiting longer than expected and we will always do our best to keep you informed.

We ship using USPS Mail and you are sent a tracking email the minute your label is printed, please make sure to find emails from us if they are spammed and mark them "Not Spam" so as to receive the tracking emails. We are NOT responsible for any packages once they are shown picked-up from our warehouse. PLEASE watch for your package when it says delivered and we always recommend having things shipped to your work address or PO BOX to avoid theft. If you want your package to be insured you MUST pay for the $9 priority shipping option, in which case you ARE covered for a lost or stolen package. We recommend this on any large orders and/or higher end items.

You must confirm that your shipping address is correct when you enter it, if the package is returned to us due to the address being entered incorrectly at check-out you will be invoiced for additional shipping if it is returned to us and has to go out again. Paypal requires us to ship to the address entered at checkout so we CANNOT edit your address at your request after, we would have to offer you a website credit and you will place a new order. We are not covered in the event of a lost package if we ship to an address other than the one entered at checkout.

When you are ordering an item with a monogram always put the initials in the order you want them to appear.
